We're here! Yes, we finally did move to New Mexico. We lived in suitcases and boxes for more than a month. We got here a little over a week ago. Thank You Lana!! Greg's sister came with us and was an angel. She even braved Haylie and the stomach flu. We are all settled into a house. I even have about 95% of the boxes unpacked and some pictures hung. The kids really had a rough time last week, but now that our house is a little settled and we've gone to the library and park and such, I think they are adjusting. Haylie still told me today that she doesn't want to go to church because she doesn't know anyone. And Freemen told me that he wants to go back to his favorite house next to Kadie and Don.
Friday night Greg and Freemen went camping with the ward for "Father and Sons". They had a great time. Greg took pictures with his phone but we can't figure how to post them yet. While they were gone, Haylie, Bella and I had a girls night. We camped out downstairs and watched Beauty and the Beast (Bella went to bed). Saturday we went to the library and to garage sales. Haylie was excited to use her own money to buy a princess book.
One thing we have noticed... there are a lot of liberals here. Obama came to town last week. He had a town meeting at the high school across from Greg's job site. People were so excited. I suppose it is special to see a president, but I should have gone down and picketed with the other protesters.

I'm so glad you're getting settled. I HATE that unsettled feeling. Haily and Freeman are so easy going and fun that I'm sure they will make friends fast. How long do you think you will be there? What part of New Mexico are you in? My Grandpa lives in Bluewater. Part of my ancestory comes from New Mexico.
