Betty Crocker

I've been doing a lot of baking lately. Bread, cookies, muffins, and this pumpkin-chocolate chip cake. I feel a little betty crocker. The kids love it.

She wants me to wash her hands. It is something simple but little moments like this when they ask for your help and they look up at you with angelic faces that make everything in this world worth it.
Oh, I'm a little proud. All these things I've gotten for FREE or even made money on them. I'm just patting my own back for coupon and rebate use. It takes some work, but I think it is rewarding to feel like you're saving your family money.

I'm so proud!!!! How did you do it?! I want to hear all about New Mexico. I've been wanting to visit my grandfather in New Mexico for years now. Will you still be there next year?

That sort of thing always makes me feel so good! The hard work of being a stay-at-home mom always pays up in monetary ways too! If you're doing it right.
