Last week I made the kids a "chore chart." It has a few basic things like put their toys away and put their clothes in the laundry. I decided to add a few things I thought they could help me with like fold clothes and unload the dishwasher. We spend a little time each day adding all the stickers for the thing they have done that day. It has been helpful. Freemen slept in his own bed all night two nights in a row (BIG stickers for that!) I've really loved all the help they've been. I think I've
allowed them to do a bit too much though. They were unloading the dishwasher today. Freemen pulled a bar stool over to the counter so that he could put the glasses away in the upper shelves. Well, the stool tipped over and he hit his chin on the counter. A trip to the
insta-care gave him his first three stitches. He was
soooo good. The third stitch hurt him a little but he sat still for it. I was so proud of him. I teared up of
course. BIG thanks to
Kadie who ran down to help with crazy
bella and
Haylie. I knew
Haylie shouldn't watch.

P.S. Dad, I think I'm becoming like you. I went to the dentist today for some easy fillings. The first two I didn't even need any numbing. Well the last one started to hurt so she decided to numb it up. When the needle came out I had a panic attack. I started to cry. I'VE HAD THREE KIDS! you think I could handle a needle. Well, I made it through it. I need to have my wisdom teeth removed and the dentist
recommended I be
sedated. I AGREE!
What a day.
