PRESCHOOL GRADUATION

Haylie "graduated" from preschool yesterday. Her teacher Mrs. Toni did a great job. I think it helped Haylie understand that preschool was over and she will not be coming back (more than an accomplishment of some sort.) She got a reportcard that helped us see where she is and what we need to focus on to get her ready for the fall. Mrs. Toni said that at the begining of the year Haylie wouldn't say two words to her and after a few months she finally opened up. She also said she was the Most Well Behaved child. Kadie (Neighbor) came too. I think Haylie was happy to have us all there. I was hesitant to put her in preschool, but I'm really glad I did. I think it helped prepare her for Kindergarten in a lot of ways. She is growing too fast!

This is a little chic that the class incubated and saw hatch.

This was the "report" Haylie gave about... can you guess... princesses.

Haylie is such a mini Amy...totally cracks me up! I used to think that the graduation for EVERY SINGLE GRADE was just completely over-board, but you make a great point with the preschool grad. It probably really DOES help them to understand that they're done and not going back. Great pics! ~Katie
