Today we took the kids out to fly their first kites. Kadie (our neighbor) gave them the kites and we have been waiting every day for some wind. It was a bit TOO windy when we started, but it died down a little and Haylie was able to get her kite up really high. She liked running with it. Freemen's kite was having a bit more trouble, but he just liked holding onto the the tail as it went around and round in the wind. He said his "lighting McQueen was racing."
